Technical University of Madrid (UPM) is one of the main universities in Spain and its activity in the field of the aeronautical science and engineering has been developed through the School of Technical Aeronautical Engineering (funded in 1939) and the University college of Technical Aeronautical Engineering (funded in 1962). The UPM develops a broad and intensive research activity through more than 200 research groups. In the Airports, Air Navigation and Air Traffic Control domains it is remarkable the activity developed the research Group named GINA, “Grupo de Investigación de Navegación Aérea”. Active since the year 1992, the group consists of professor and Researchers from the School of Technical Aeronautical Engineering and the University College of Technical Aeronautical Engineering. |

The Department of Aerospace, Electrical and Electronic Engineering (AEE) department is one of 6 within the Faculty of Engineering and Computing. Group facilities include a bespoke aerospace laboratory which includes equipment such as a Harrier Jump Jet, Westland Scout helicopter, UAV systems and a flight simulation suite (complete with air traffic control station) that is unique worldwide. The group host the National Merlin Flight Simulation competition, open to a variety of academic institutions from schools to universities. |

Boeing Research & Technology Europe S.L.U. (BRTE) is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Boeing Company. Since its establishment in 2002, BRTE has become an active member in the European R&D landscape. European School Heads Association (ESHA), is the professional association for European School Leaders. ESHA is an umbrella organization of national associations for School Heads and Leadership teams in Primary, Secondary, Special and Vocational education. The 40 ESHA member organizations represent over 85,000 school leaders in almost all European countries. ESHA’s aims are to act as an advocate for its members, research and report on issues of the day, engage with key stakeholders and promote best practice in developing innovative and high quality education and school leadership. The activities of the ESHA network address both policy and practice. ESHA disseminates the experiences and views of its members to research organizations and policy makers. |

German Association of Model Aircraft Fliers Flying model aircraft in Germany would scarcely be conceivable without the German Association of Model Aircraft Fliers. The largest umbrella organisation of its kind in Europe forms a comprehensive foundation for almost 80.000 members and offers the optimal basis for more than 1.300 member clubs currently spread throughout Germany. Flying model aircraft is much more than just a passion – it combines a hobby, sport, education and profession. Ultimately it also creates an ideal basis for many professions – especially in the aviation industry – because model aircraft fliers gain scientific and engineering knowledge in an entertaining manner. |
